How to schedule the right content at the right time

Turn one screen into a timely communication channel with a simple dayparting strategy.

The most effective screen content reflects what viewers need at that moment. Scheduling lets you prepare messages once and publish them automatically when they are most relevant.

Start with your audience’s day

Map the natural changes in your location. A café may move from breakfast to lunch, while an office may shift from morning announcements to afternoon performance updates.

Build simple content windows

Begin with two or three time periods rather than creating a complicated schedule. Clear morning, daytime, and evening playlists are easier to maintain and measure.

Plan important dates early

Add promotions, events, holidays, and internal campaigns to the calendar in advance. Set an end date so expired messages disappear without someone having to remember.

Leave room for live updates

A schedule should provide structure without becoming rigid. Keep a slot available for urgent notices, availability changes, or a message that needs to go live immediately.

Review and improve

Check schedules regularly and remove content that is no longer useful. A smaller set of current, relevant messages performs better than a long playlist viewers never finish.
